Pre Paid Funeral Plans

Many people are deciding to make arrangements for their own funeral in advance, which we are very happy to help and advise on.  Many of these people also decide to pre-pay the funeral to save their family needing to worry about the burden of having to find funds when it may prove difficult.  We have our own guaranteed plan based on local prices and traditions and yet it is backed by a National Funeral Planning Company with all funds being placed in an Independent Trust Fund.



Our Pre-Payment Plans start from £2550.00 for a funeral including all obligatory disbursements.

Pre-arrangements may especially suit:

 

  • Those with no-one capable or willing to make funeral arrangements at the time of their death.
  • Those who have definite wishes about aspects of their funeral and want to be sure that these wishes are known, so that they can be incorporated in the funeral.
  • Those who simply want to offer some guidelines to their survivors regarding their own funeral arrangements.

GUARANTEED FUNERAL PLANS

THE PRESTIGE £3530

This plan provides all the features of the very best English funeral, including a solid oak coffin

  • Guidance on the registration of the death.
  • Removal of the deceased from within 100 miles of our premises at any time of day or night.
  • Care of the deceased in accordance with the wishes of the family, as well as viewing at the Chapel of Rest.
  • A craftsman made coffin of solid oak with the best interior gown set.
  • Making all arrangements and providing staff for the funeral service.
  • Supply of a hearse and bearers with two limousines.
  • The cortege can leave from a private address prior to the funeral service at a local church, followed by committal at the local crematorium, churchyard or cemetery.
  • The coffin can be taken into church the night before the funeral service if required, instead of having a second limousine.
  • Listing floral tributes.
  • Taking names at the funeral service.
  • Acknowledging charitable donations.
  • The supply of up to 200 printed orders of service.
  • A contribution of £900 towards disbursement costs such as crematorium, church or cemetery fees (please see the notes below).

THE STANDARD £2550

This plan represents the standard funeral we offer to all our customers,

  • Guidance on the registration of the death.
  • Removal of the deceased from within 50 miles of our premises at any time of day or night.
  • Care of the deceased in accordance with the wishes of the family, as well as viewing at the Chapel of Rest.
  • A standard veneered coffin with handles, lining and gown set.
  • Making all arrangements and providing staff for the funeral service.
  • Supply of a hearse and bearers for the funeral.
  • The cortege can leave from a private address prior to a funeral service at a local church, or a service at one of the local crematoria. Note: if a service in church is to be followed by burial or cremation elsewhere, an additional £70 should be added to the cost of this plan.
  • Listing floral tributes.
  • Acknowledging charitable donations.
  • A contribution of £900 towards disbursement costs such as crematorium, church or cemetery fees (please see the notes below).

If neither of the above plans suit your requirements then please contact our office and we will prepare a personalised plan just for you, to allow for whatever services you require.

DISBURSEMENTS

A contribution towards other expenses, such as burial or cremation fees, doctors’ fees and minister’s fee (known as “disbursements”) is included in each plan. This amount will be increased from time to time and should cover most if not all of the usual payments to third parties. You can include more or less for disbursements in your plan if you wish. We strongly recommend that you discuss your requirements with us so that the right amount is included.

PLAN PRICES

The prices quoted are correct at the time of printing but will be revised from time to time – please check if in doubt. There will be no price increase once you have purchased a plan.
